Eligibility Criteria for Meghalaya Police Constable Recruitment
Educational Qualification
Educational qualifications are different for various posts:
- For Sub Inspector: Candidates must have any degree from a recognised university.
- For unarmed branch constables, firemen and operators: candidates should possess class 12th.
- For Armed Branch Constable/ Battalion Constable/ MPRO GD/ Constable Handyman and driver constable: The candidates must be 9th pass.
Age limit
Candidate must be at least 18 years old and should not be older than 27 years. Age relaxation of 5 years is applicable for candidates belonging to ST/OST/SC categories.
