Educational Qualification
- For Unarmed Police Sub Inspector: For the post of sub-inspector, candidates must have any degree from any recognised university.
- For all other posts: Candidates should possess 12th class to be selected for Gujarat police.
Age Limit
Age is based on various posts, such as:
- For Unarmed Police Sub Inspector: Candidates should be at least 21 years old and have not completed 35 years of age.
- For all other posts: The minimum age for all other posts is 18 years and the maximum is 33 years as per the rules.

Selection Process
The candidates are selected for different posts based on their merit in the Gujarat Police exam. The stages that lead to the final selection are given below:
