Eligibility Criteria
The UPSSSC sets certain eligibility criteria for Agriculture Technical Assistant vacancies, and candidates a strongly advised to check the eligibility terms before applying online. Education qualification and age limit details are as per follows
Candidates who want to apply for the Agriculture Technical Assistant posts must have a B.Sc. degree in Agriculture, Horticulture, Forestry, or Hons, or a B.Tech degree in Agriculture Engineering. This ensures they have the right knowledge and qualifications for the job.
As for age, applicants should be at least 21 years old and not older than 40 years as of July 1, 2024. The UPSSSC provides age relaxation according to its rules to accommodate various candidates.
Application Fee
The registration fee for all candidates, regardless of category, is ₹25, which includes the online processing fee. There’s no application fee, which makes it easier for everyone. You can pay through Debit Card, Credit Card, Internet Banking, UPI, or at SBI branches.
Selection Process
Candidates will be selected based on their marks in the Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2023 and their performance in the written test organized by the recruitment authority.
The written exam will be held offline at different exam centers across the state. There will be a total of 100 questions, each carrying one mark. Candidates will have two hours to complete the question paper, which will have three parts.
