The Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released the notification for the post of police constable in Jharkhand. The online application for these vacancies started on 22 January; the last submission date was 21 February.
The authority aims to fill a total of 4919 vacancies through this portal. Aspirants who have submitted the application forms must participate in the recruitment phases, i.e. PET/PST, written exam, and others. At first, the department will organise the Physical Test (PET/PST).
Candidates can download their Jharkhand Police Admit Card a few days before the PET/ examination from the official website of the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission.

Selection process
To be selected for the Jharkhand police exam, Candidates must clear all the required examinations. There are three phases included in the Jharkhand constable selection process.
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET) or Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
- Medical Examination
- Written Examination
Physical test/ Examination Schedule
The Jharkhand Police Physical Schedule and written Exam date will be released soon along with the admit card. Candidates are advised to stay updated and regularly check the official website. Aspirants can download the admit card from the official website when it is released.
Exam Pattern
- The Paper consists of two papers: paper 1 and paper 2
- The duration for each paper is set at 2 hours.
- Each question carries 3 marks and there is a negative marking of 1 mark out of the total.
