The Himachal Pradesh Public Service Commission (HPPSC) released a notification to take an administrative Service competitive exam in 2024. The authority aims to recruit 26 candidates for the HP administrative services, district controller, district Welfare cum probation officer, district panchayat officer, assistant registrar, and tehsildar.

HPPSC HPAS Educational Qualification
- Candidates must have a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university.
Age limits(as on 01-01-2024)
The minimum age to apply for this exam is 21 years and the maximum age limit will be acceptable 35 years. As per the rules, age relaxation will be applicable.
Application/Registration Fee
- Aspirants can pay their fees only online mode by debit/ credit card/ UPI/ any other online digital mode.
- For general EWS, Wards of Ex-Servicemen, and certain other categories the application fee will be 600 Rs.
- Candidates from other states-Rs.600
- SC, ST, OBC, and Certain other category candidates have to pay 150Rs.
- Those who are blind or visually impaired in Himachal Pradesh and who have served their country:- No fees.

- Preliminary Examination-This exam serves as a screening test only. This exam will include two papers of the objective type questions. This exam will consist total of 400 marks.
- Main Examination- A main examination will be conducted to check the candidate’s knowledge and aptitude.
- Interview-The interview will aim to check the candidates whether are applicable or not for the administrative responsibilities.
