Under the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, families with an annual income of up to Rs. 1 lakh will be provided with Happy Cards. Beneficiaries of this card will get the benefit of 1000 kilometres of free travel every year. Around 84 lakh people from 22.89 lakh families in Haryana will benefit from this scheme. Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar started this scheme by providing symbolic mobility cards to 6 members of Antyodaya Parivar.
Through the Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana, beneficiaries will be able to travel for free on Haryana Roadways buses via the e-ticketing system and a smart card (Happy Card) will be issued. The Haryana government will spend around 600 crore rupees for this scheme.

- The Haryana Antyodaya Parivar Parivahan Yojana will provide Roadways Happy Cards to Antyodaya families.
- Each Happy Card allows for 1000 kilometres of free travel annually.
- To get a Happy Card, the beneficiary needs to pay a fee of ₹50. The government will cover the remaining card cost of ₹109 and an annual maintenance fee of ₹79.

Steps to Apply Online for The Haryana Happy Card?
To apply for the Haryana Happy Card, follow these simple steps:
- Visit the official website of the Haryana Transport Department.
- Look for the “Apply Happy Card” option on the homepage and click on it.
- Enter your Parivar Pehchan Patra number and the captcha code provided.
- Click on the “Send OTP to Verify” option.
- Once you receive the OTP, verify it to access information about your family members.
- Select the family member you wish to apply for the Happy Card for.
- Enter their mobile number and Aadhar card number.
- Enter the captcha code again and click on “Send OTP.”
- Verify the OTP received on the registered Aadhaar number.
- Click on the “Apply” option to complete the application process.
After applying, you can expect to receive your Happy Card within 15 days by visiting your nearest Roadways office.
