As per the rules given by the Directorate of Education, there are 1736 schools where you can apply for Delhi EWS admissions. They’ll select applicants’ kids through a computerized lottery system, and they’ll tell everyone the results.

The Delhi Education Department said that you can start applying from 30th April 2024 for EWS admission for the 2024-25 session. You should apply before 15th May 2024. The lottery results will come out on 20th May 2024.

Delhi EWS Admission- Eligibility Criteria

To get your child into private schools in Delhi under the EWS Admission 2024-25, parents need to meet some criteria:

Your child should be a resident of Delhi.

• For pre-school or nursery, kids aged 3 to 5 years can apply for EWS & DG, and 3 to 7 years for CWSN.
• For KG, it’s 4 to 6 years for EWS & DG, and 4 to 8 years for CWSN.
• For Class 1, it’s 5 to 7 years for EWS & DG, and 5 to 9 years for CWSN.

The family income should be under ₹1 lakh for EWS Admission 2024-25, though the Delhi High Court changed it to ₹2.5 lakh.
