The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) will release the Odisha Civil Services Preliminary Exam admit card. The examination will be conducted for 399 various Grade A and Group B vacancies in the Odisha Public Service Commission in the coming days.
The preliminary examination date for the OCS/OAS exam is likely to be released soon. The exam is expected to take place after the general Parliament Elections in the country.
The online application for the vacancies started on 17 January 2024; the last submission date was 16 February 2024. Candidates now waiting for the admit card can download it by visiting the official website a few days before the examination.

OCS/OAS Selection Process
The examination has three steps: preliminary examination, main examination and interview. The preliminary examination is a qualifying test. The candidate selection is based on marks in the main exam and the interview. This examination is conducted to evaluate the candidate’s awareness and knowledge.

Exam Pattern and Exam Scheme
In Preliminary Examination:
The preliminary exam consists of multiple-choice questions. There will be two papers (Paper 1 and Paper 2) for 2-2 hours. 1/3 of the total marks is deducted for every incorrect answer. Paper 2 qualifies in nature, and candidates must score more than 33%.
Main Examination:
There are two sections: section one and section two. Section 1 is qualifying and the marks are not calculated in the merit list. Each paper will take three to complete.
Interview:
In the last phase, Candidates are called for the interview. It is a personality test to measure the confidence level and knowledge of the candidates.
