The Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board, BCECEB, is set to conduct the Diploma Certificate Entrance Competetive Exam (DCECE). The notification for the Bihar DCECE was published on the official website on 12 April 2024. This is the State level examination.
The Diploma Certificate Entrance Competetive exam (DCECE) will be conducted for admissions to various technical courses that the polytechnic institutions of the state offer. Interested and eligible students can apply for this exam from the official website. The students should have the required qualifications to apply for this exam.

The first date to apply online for this exam is 12 April, and the students can apply for this exam till 11 May 2024 (11:59 pm). Students who want to be admitted into these courses must apply for this exam before any deadline. Students can apply for this exam only online. The admit cards will be published in June. The exam will be held on 22 and 23 June 2024.
Educational Qualifications
- For Polytechical Engineer (PE) -Students must possess a 10th pass from a recognized board.
- For Pera Medical Matric Level (PMM)- Students must pass the 10th class with science and English from a well-known board.
- For Pera Medical Internation Level (PM)-It is necessary to have a 12th-pass student Pharmacy with Physics, Chemistry, and English plus Mathematics or Biology to apply for this exam from any recognized board.
Age limits
- There is no age limit for the Polytechnic Engineer (PE) Group.
- The minimum age limit for the Para Medical (Secondary Level) PMM Group is 15 years and the maximum is 30 years as of 31-12-2024.
- For the Para Medical (Intermediate Level) PM Group, the age limit is between 17 and 32/25 years will be applicable.
