What is the Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme?
The Chief Minister of Assam, Shri Himanta Biswa Sharma, introduced the Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme to help lift people out of poverty. Through this scheme, eligible women in Assam receive Rs. 1,250 in their bank accounts on the 10th of every month.

The Orunodoi Scheme combines two other government schemes: Deen Dayal Divyangjan Achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojanin Biswa Pension Achoni. This merger has created the largest DBT plan in Assam.
Benefits of the Scheme
The Assam Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme benefits around 27.77 lakh families. Each recipient gets Rs. 1250 on the 10th of every month through Direct Benefit Transfer.

- Rs. 400 for medical expenses
- Rs. 200 for a 50% subsidy on four kilograms of sugar
- Rs. 150 for fruits and vegetables
- Rs. 170 for essential needs
- Rs. 250 for Deen Dayal Divyangjan Achoni and Indira Miri Sarbojanin Biswa Pension Achoni
If a family is registered in both schemes, they receive Rs. 250 out of the Rs. 1250 each month.
