The Uttarakhand Public Service Commission (UKPSC) is going to recruit candidates for the post of sub-inspector and Fire Station Second Officer in the state. The online application process started on 31 January 2024 and the last date for submission was 20 February 2024, but the application last date was extended until 22 March 2024 for those candidates who didn’t apply at that time.
The authority aims to fill 221 vacancies under this recruitment. Thousand of candidates took part in the examination and now are waiting for the admit card. Current Update: The Physical Test for the positions of Sub-Inspector (Civil Police, Intelligence), Fire Station Second Officer, and Platoon Commander, Male (PAC/IRB) is set to take place in May 2024. Meanwhile, the written examination for these roles is scheduled for December 15, 2024, with an additional exam for the Fire Station Second Officer on December 29, 2024.

Selection Process
The selection process for the Uttarakhand Police Daroga Bharti 2024 comprises the Physical Measurement Test, Physical Efficiency Test, Written Examination, Document Verification, and Medical Examination. Candidates who successfully pass the physical examination will proceed to the written examination, followed by a medical examination. Physical tests are qualifying in nature and the final merit list will be based on the written test.

Written Examination
- There will be two papers in the written examination.
- Each question carries one mark and there is a negative marking of 1/4 for every incorrect answer.
- The exam will be held for 300 marks.
