The Karnataka Examination Authority(KEA) conducted the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) at the various authorized examination centres. The exam was conducted on 13 January 2024 by following all the rules. The exam aimed to select the candidates for assistant professor and lecturer posts.

Candidates could submit their application form from 03-10-2023 to 09-10-2023. The exam board mentioned the exam date as 31 December 2023, but the exam board postponed this date, and the board took this exam on 13 January 2024(Saturday). Karnataka SET Exam Overview
This exam concluded two papers. Both papers were asked to the candidates in the objective form.
Paper I – In this exam, candidates obtained 50 compulsory questions. One question consists of 2 marks. This exam checked the candidate’s reasoning ability, comprehension, divergent thinking, and general awareness.
Paper II- This exam was taken for 100 compulsory MCQs. Each question contains 2 marks. This exam was based on the subject that was selected by the candidates.
Result Preparation Process
First of all, the authority will publish the provisional answer key. Candidates can check their scores and evaluate them. If students make any mistake, they can object to the incorrect answer in the provisional answer key. The authority will take the fee for the objection process. After reviewing the objection, the authority will publish the final answer key. The final answer key will be unchangeable.
