Indian Army Agniveer Bharti Selection Process
The selection of an Agniveer will be based on different factors. It consists of many stages as given below:
- Written Test: This exam is very crucial for the candidates of India. In the Agniveer, Candidates are selected for 4 years in the army. The selection includes various stages. First, a written exam will be taken to check the candidates’ general awareness. It assesses the questions based on general knowledge, mathematical ability, and reasoning.
- Physical Fitness test: candidates who will be qualified in the written examination are called for the next selection phase. In this phase, aspirants need to be physically fit as it includes races, push-ups, and long and high jumps.
- Physical measurement test: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for PMT (Physical measurement test) to check their suitability for the job. Height, weight and chest measurements are crucial parts of this section.
- Medical Examination- This examination checks for any underlying medical conditions and clarify the candidate is medically fit for military service. After that, the authority will conduct the document verification process.

Paper Pattern and scheme

- For Clerk: There will be 80 marks on paper, each question carrying 4 marks, and 1 mark will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- For Technical Branch: It requires passing marks of 80, and one right question earns 4 marks, and there will be a negative marking of 1 mark for a wrong answer.
- General Duty: in the general duty, passing marks are set at 35, correct answers are rewarded with 2 marks, and there will be a penalty of 0.5 marks for every wrong answer.
